Use a tape measure to measure the distance that your fence material needs to cover.
Hold the post tight against the fence with one hand.
Use a straight edge to carefully draw a line down the length of your vinyl marking where you need to cut.
To cut a fence panel to length.
Remove any pickets that no longer fit in the panel.
Vinyl fencing is often hollow making cutting it difficult when using a circular saw regardless of the teeth on the blade.
